Earlier on Saturday, Israeli troops set up a military checkpoint in Ain al‑Eid, searched passersby and a resident’s home, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). A day earlier, a separate Israeli force of four military vehicles entered the village of Ain al‑Ziwan, raided a house, and arrested one person before withdrawing.
