Mindware and Veeam Forge Strategic Partnership to Expand Data Resilience Across Middle East and Africa

In Dubai, UAE, Mindware, a leading value‑added distributor (VAD) in the Middle East and Africa, announced a strategic partnership with Veeam Software, the global leader in data and AI trust. The agreement names Mindware as the exclusive VAD for Veeam across the Middle East, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt and Libya.

The partnership combines Veeam’s industry‑leading data resilience capabilities with Mindware’s extensive regional channel network, technical expertise, local market presence, partner ecosystem and cloud capabilities. Together, the companies aim to help organizations protect critical data and applications, recover rapidly from disruption and maintain business continuity amid a complex threat landscape.

"Data resilience has moved well beyond being an IT priority; it is now fundamental to business continuity, risk management and digital transformation," said Nicholas Argyrides, VP Gulf & East Africa at Mindware. "Across our markets, organizations are adopting cloud and AI at an unprecedented pace, while many are still working to establish the governance, visibility and resilience needed to trust AI‑powered systems at scale. Customers increasingly recognize that AI is only as reliable as the data behind it."

Veeam, headquartered in Seattle, protects more than 550,000 customers worldwide, including 80 % of the Fortune 500. The company is ranked the number one provider worldwide for data protection software market share by IDC and has been named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Backup & Data Protection Platforms for the tenth consecutive year.

Under the agreement, Mindware will provide its channel ecosystem with comprehensive support across training, certification, sales and technical enablement, marketing, proof‑of‑concepts, workshops, technical support and partner incentives. Mindware will also offer additional professional and technical services around Veeam, including implementation and enablement capabilities, to accelerate deployments and deliver greater value to customers.

The partnership is designed to expand Veeam’s market reach while giving partners the resources, expertise and support needed to capitalize on growing demand for data resilience solutions. It will enable Mindware’s channel partners to deliver Veeam solutions to a broad range of industries and organization sizes, including enterprises, SMBs, government entities, healthcare organisations and financial institutions.

"Our partnership with Veeam brings together two complementary strengths: Veeam’s proven leadership in data resilience, and Mindware’s ability to translate leading technologies into scalable, market‑ready solutions through our regional channel ecosystem," continued Argyrides. "We see a significant opportunity to equip our partners with the expertise, services and resources they need to help customers protect, govern and recover their data, giving them the confidence to innovate, strengthen cyber resilience and accelerate AI initiatives safely and responsibly."

Charbel Zreiby, Channel Director, EMEA East at Veeam, added: "Organizations across the Middle East are accelerating cloud and AI adoption, and they need confidence that the data behind it is secure, governed and recoverable. Data resilience is the foundation of that trust. Mindware’s regional reach and technical depth extend our ability to put these capabilities in the hands of more partners and customers, so they can recover quickly from disruption and move forward with AI with confidence."

Over the next 12–24 months, Mindware and Veeam will focus on expanding market coverage, growing the partner ecosystem, driving customer acquisition, increasing cloud adoption and accelerating revenue growth across the covered territories. The companies are also exploring additional initiatives in Saudi Arabia and across the wider region to further develop the Veeam ecosystem and create new opportunities for partners and customers.

The partnership will be showcased at LEAP Saudi Arabia 2026, a major technology event that brings together decision‑makers, enterprises, investors and channel partners from Saudi Arabia and the wider region. The event underscores the growing importance of data resilience, cloud transformation and secure data management as organizations accelerate their digital transformation strategies.

For organizations operating in today’s digital economy, data resilience is no longer simply an IT requirement. The ability to protect, recover and maintain access to critical data and applications is fundamental to business continuity. Through this partnership, Mindware and Veeam aim to make advanced data resilience and Data & AI Trust capabilities more accessible to organizations throughout the region, supporting them as they modernise infrastructure, strengthen cyber resilience and accelerate AI adoption with greater confidence.
